Citibank-Led Investor Delegation Meets Pakistan’s Finance Minister to Discuss Economic Opportunities

Islamabad, A delegation of international investors organized by Citibank and led by Mr. Ahmad Bozai, Managing Director of Citibank Pakistan, met with the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, today at the Finance Division to discuss investment prospects and economic conditions in Pakistan.

According to Press Information Department, the Finance Minister welcomed the delegation, reassuring them of Pakistan’s commitment to fostering a conducive business environment. He highlighted the positive macroeconomic trends observed over the past 10 months, which have enhanced investor confidence and underscored Pakistan’s progress towards economic stability. The Minister pointed out the IT and agriculture sectors as prime areas for investment, urging both local and international stakeholders to contribute to economic revitalization.

Mr. Bozai affirmed Citibank Pakistan’s dedication to supporting Pakistan’s economic development through strategic partnerships and initiatives aimed at enhancing the country’s global competitiveness. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between local and international parties. Concluding the meeting, the Federal Minister encouraged the delegation to confidently explore investment opportunities, promising continued government support for such endeavors.
