CPEC enhanced people-to-people connectivity between Pakistan, China: Info Minister

Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi says people-to-people connectivity between Pakistan and China has climbed to new height since the launch of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Addressing a ceremony at Pakistan National Council of Arts in Islamabad today [Wednesday], he said over twenty eight thousand Pakistani students are studying in China.

He further said the number of Chinese language learners is growing at an exponential rate in Pakistan.

Quoting the joint statement between both the countries in 2022, the Minister said both the sides reiterated the importance of people-to-people contact, tourism, cooperation in cultural exchanges for strong bilateral relationship.
