Economic Coordination Committee Approves Critical Financial Measures Under Leadership of Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb

Islamabad, The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), led by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, approved several Technical Supplementary Grants aimed at bolstering various sectors of the government, ensuring continued economic stability and meeting strategic needs.

According to Press Information Department, the ECC meeting, which was attended by key ministers and high-ranking officials, sanctioned financial allocations for different ministries. Notable approvals included Rs. 2.363 million for the Ministry of Interior to cover troop costs, Rs. 200 million for the Intelligence Bureau, and Rs. 19.373 million for the Ministry of Law and Justice.

The Committee also allocated a significant Rs. 4,050.686 million to the Strategic Plans Division / SUPARCO for the “Pakistan Multi-Mission Communication Satellite System” project. Additionally, the ECC approved the operation of SNGPL based plants for six months to ensure an uninterrupted supply of urea fertilizer for the upcoming Kharif season, highlighting the government’s proactive approach to agricultural sustainability.
