Elderly Woman Fatally Assaulted in Doda

Jammu, In a harrowing incident, an elderly woman fell victim to a brutal attack in her own home in the Doda district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in her death.

According to Kashmir Media Service, assailants forcibly entered the residence of Mursa Begam in the Akramabad area and subjected her to a severe attack that caused critical injuries. Despite being rushed to District Hospital Doda for emergency care, Begam was pronounced dead by medical staff upon arrival.

The authorities have begun an investigation following a complaint from Amir Sheikh, the grandson of Mursa Begam. As the community reels from this tragedy, the police are actively seeking the perpetrator who is currently at large after the attack.
