Cambridge: Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, led a delegation visit to Cambridge University Press and Assessment from July 6 to July 9, 2024. The visit focused on fostering educational collaborations, discussing global educational practices, and enhancing teacher training and curriculum standards. Dr. Siddiqui delivered a keynote at the Cambridge Schools Conference on the role of effective communication in education.

According to Press Information Department, during meetings with Cambridge officials like Jane Mann and Tim Oates, discussions encompassed a variety of educational challenges, including the integration of climate education into curricula. The delegation also toured Cambridge’s archives, reflecting on the long-standing educational ties between Pakistan and Cambridge that have influenced educational standards in Pakistan. The visit included networking events and strategic meetings, such as a lunch with Dr. Kamal Munir, which underscored the potential for future educational partnerships and projects.
