Senator Rubina Khalid Pledges Support to Resolve Issues for BISP Beneficiaries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad: Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), met with representatives from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Women’s Wing today at BISP Headquarters. During the meeting, she committed to addressing the issues faced by women beneficiaries of the program, particularly focusing on the challenges related to the registration process and the conditions at payment campsites.

According to Press Information Department, the delegation, which included Ms. Shazia Tahmas Khan, Ms. Meher Sultana, and Ms. Ashbar Jadoon, highlighted the difficulties women face in accessing support in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Senator Khalid assured them of her full support in resolving these problems and received an invitation to visit Kohistan to further understand the local needs.
