Aurangzeb praised the bank’s longstanding partnership with Pakistan and highlighted the government’s active engagement with rating agencies to bolster the country’s financial standing.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting covered potential initiatives such as a trade financing facility and a syndicated loan arrangement. Both parties also explored expanding into climate finance, discussing mechanisms like carbon credits, green bonds, and debt-for-nature swaps. These collaborations aim to enhance Pakistan’s access to sustainable financing options, supporting economic stability and environmental objectives.
