Finance Minister Commits to Supporting Sindh’s Agricultural and Industrial Development

Islamabad, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, during a meeting in Karachi with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, assured full support from the federal government to boost the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors in Sindh. This meeting underscored the collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the province’s economic development and recovery from recent flood impacts.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussion between Aurangzeb and Shah focused on advancing Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and agricultural development in Sindh. The Chief Minister highlighted the provincial government’s initiatives in agricultural enhancement and the ongoing reconstruction of infrastructure damaged by floods.

Both leaders agreed on the importance of utilizing scientific and modern methods to develop the agriculture sector. They emphasized the potential for Sindh to cultivate export-quality crops, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, which could significantly contribute to the country’s foreign exchange earnings.

The meeting signifies a step forward in federal-provincial collaboration, aiming to realize the growth potential of Sindh’s agriculture and industrial sectors.
