Finance Minister of Pakistan Calls for Tax Exemption Proposals to Boost Dairy Exports

Islamabad, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has instructed relevant authorities to develop a proposal for exempting dairy exports from taxes, following a meeting with the Pakistan Dairy Association.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the discussions, Minister Aurangzeb emphasized the government’s dedication to enhancing the dairy sector’s environment to leverage its export potential. He encouraged the introduction of initiatives that would benefit not only large-scale dairy producers but also small-scale farmers, aiming to broaden the sector’s economic impact. Industry leaders expressed their eagerness to capitalize on the growing trend in dairy exports and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding their international market presence.
