Fire Damages Homes and Cowsheds in Handwara, Kupwara District

Srinagar: A fire incident in the Handwara area of Kupwara district resulted in significant damage to several residential structures and two cowsheds last night, impacting multiple families in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, an official reported that seven homes were affected by the blaze. The residences belonged to Ghulam Mohammad Malik, Ghulam Nabi Malik, Ali Mohammad Malik, Abdul Salam Sheikh, Mohammad Abdulla Malik, Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, and Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, all of whom are residents of Yangerhard Wader Zachaldara. The fire also damaged two cowsheds. Emergency services, including fire tenders and police, responded promptly and managed to control the fire. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
