Formal Ceremony Honors Iranian President at Islamabad’s Prime Minister House

Islamabad, In a formal ceremony at the Prime Minister House, Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi was honored with a guard of honor by a contingent of Pakistan’s armed forces. The event, which also featured the national anthems of both Iran and Pakistan, marked a significant moment in the ongoing three-day state visit aimed at strengthening the ties between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ceremony included the introduction of Pakistani cabinet members to President Raisi by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Additionally, commemorating International Earth Day, both leaders participated in planting a sapling at the Prime Minister’s House, symbolizing their commitment to environmental sustainability alongside diplomatic cooperation.
