French Envoy calls on Sindh senior minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro

Karachi, April 21, 2014 (PPI-OT): Ambassador of France to Pakistan Philippe Thiebaud called on Sindh Senior Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro at his Sindh Assembly office here on Monday.

They discussed politics, education law and order situation and exchange views on the issue of mutual interests.

Speaking on the occasion Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that the best safe place for General retired Pervez Mussharaf is in Jail and here is no any future of Musharraf is in Pakistan’s politics.

He said twice Elected Prime Minister public leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was not provided security when she came to Pakistan but on the other hand security is being provided to dictator Mussharraf. He said now ball is in the court of judiciary and federal Government who has to decide about him.

Discussing the law and other situation Khuhro said that Government is taking steps to maintain the law and order situation and with the consensus of all political parties targeted operation is going on and the on going target operation in the city against terrorists and other criminals will continue till elimination of last criminal. From the day first it was decided by the federal and Sindh Government to continue the target operation up to its final destination rather than to surrender to any pressure. Both the governments are still committed for the same, he said.

Sindh Senior Minister said Pakistan attaches much significance to its relations with France and called for further boosting the existing bilateral relations on strong footings. He expressed the hope that during his tenure the relations between Pakistan and France would further strengthened.
