Islamabad: Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan has assured the public of the government’s unwavering commitment to transparency in the privatization processes involving key state-owned enterprises. The announcement came during a media briefing where senior journalists were informed about the government’s strategies and policies concerning the privatization agenda.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Khan outlined specific plans for the privatization of Distribution Companies (DISCOs), stating that these actions will be coordinated in consultation with the Power Division. This initiative is part of a broader effort to streamline operations and enhance service delivery in the public sector by leveraging private sector efficiencies and expertise.
