Islamabad, July 21, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi says government has introduced a social media platform and a whatsapp number for public complaints. Talking to media in Islamabad on Friday, he said people now can convey their grievances from their homes. The whatsapp number is 0310-8151766 which can be used for call or message to lodge a complaint. Citizens will be able to lodge a complaint against federal ministries, divisions, corporations and provincial departments.
The Minister said federal government has also advised the provincial governments to nominate focal persons in their provinces to resolve the complaints amicably. He said after provincial capitals, “Khuli Kachehris” will be held at divisional and district levels. Murtaza Javed Abbasi informed that total 11,471 complaints were received while 11,280 were addressed adequately and 191 are under process.
