Karachi, Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited has released its financial results for the 1st quarter ended June 30, 2023, following a meeting of the Board of Directors held on July 25, 2023. The Board recommended nil cash dividend, bonus shares, and right shares for this period.
The company’s financial performance during the quarter shows a gross loss of Rs. 148.38 million. However, it managed to offset this loss with distribution & marketing costs, administrative expenses, other income, and other expenses. The profit before taxation was reported at Rs. 902.69 million.
After considering taxation, the company’s profit after taxation stood at Rs. 416.07 million. The earnings per share, both basic and diluted, were recorded at Rs. 1.02 for the quarter.
The quarterly report for the period ended June 30, 2023, will be transmitted through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Action Reporting System (PUCARS) separately, as per regulatory requirements.
