Housing Minister hands over keys to G-11/3 allotees

Islamabad, April 17, 2014 (PPI-OT): Minister of State for Housing and Works, Barrister Usman Ibrahim, handed over possession letters and keys to 19 allotees of G-11-/3 “C” type apartments in a ceremony held here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that this is a very praiseworthy step of the incumbent leadership that one of the stalled projects of Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF) has almost been completed and allottees have been given possession letters along with keys of their homes. The Minister stated that completion of G-11/3 project is a proof that our team will accomplish rest of the stalled projects soon.

The Minister added that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given priority to the issue of providing shelter to the common man and the government is well aware of shortfall of houses in the country. The Minister further said that PHAF will start 3 new housing projects in Islamabad soon and hoped that such initiatives would bridge the gap in the Federal Capital.

Moreover, the Minister congratulated the allottees and said that as soon as the rest of the allottees would deposit their full payments, they would get the possession immediately. The Minister desired to fully cooperate with them in future and assured that the present leadership is sincere and committed to its mandate and it will provide shelter to the public. The ceremony was attended by senior officers of Ministry of Housing and Works, PHAF directors and allottees of G-11/3 allottees.
