ICI Pakistan Limited’s approval of date and time for holding extraordinary general meeting

Karachi: As you are aware that ICI Pakistan Limited (ICI) has filed a petition in the High Court of Sindh seeking its approval to the Scheme of Arrangement for the reconstruction of the Company. In this connection, the Court has directed the Company to convene a meeting of its shareholders to seek their approval to the Scheme. Accordingly, we intend to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. The share transfer books of the Company are proposed to be closed from January 30, 2012 to February 6, 2012 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of determination of entitlements to attend the EOGM.

You are therefore requested to kindly accord your approval to the date and time for holding the Extraordinary General Meeting as well as the book closure.
