Indian army man killed in Poonch

Srinagar, July 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): An Indian army man was killed in an ‘accidental’ fire in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The 24-year-old Indian Army man was killed in an “accidental discharge of his weapon” along the Line of Control (LoC) at Noorkote in Poonch district, officials said.

The injured soldier, a rifleman, was taken to hospital where doctors declared him dead, the officials added. Meanwhile, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Hyderpora area of Srinagar city.
