Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met today with his Iranian counterpart Ahmad Vahidi and Minister for Law Amin Hossein Rahimi to discuss security issues and bilateral relations.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting covered topics such as security cooperation, terrorism, smuggling, border management, prisoners’ swaps, and the facilitation of Pakistani pilgrims in Iran. The Interior Minister emphasized the significance of the Iranian President’s visit, describing it as a pivotal moment for strengthening Pak-Iran relations.
Naqvi also expressed the Pakistani nation’s warm welcome to the Iranian President and his delegation, underscoring the visit as a key step towards enhancing the diplomatic and security ties between the two nations.
