Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the constitutional guarantees of equal rights for minorities in Pakistan, marking National Minorities’ Day with a reaffirmation of the government’s commitment to an inclusive society.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Naqvi’s message highlighted the integral role of minorities in the nation’s progress and underscored the teachings of both Islam and Pakistan’s constitution, which advocate for respect and kindness towards minority communities. He referenced the foundational principles laid down by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, emphasizing their focus on protecting minorities’ rights.

The minister paid tribute to the minority communities for their contributions to Pakistan’s development, acknowledging their vital role in fostering societal progress.
