Iran to Repatriate Illegal Afghan Immigrants Amid Security Concerns

Islamabad, In response to rising security threats, Iran has announced its decision to repatriate over 1.3 million illegal Afghan immigrants and to implement stricter measures to prevent their future entry.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Iranian Interior Minister outlined the extensive efforts already made to send back illegal immigrants and highlighted plans to strengthen border controls to avert further illegal crossings. This move reflects Iran’s broader strategy to enhance national security and manage its borders more effectively in light of ongoing regional security challenges.
