Italy’s president begins Jordan visit

Amman Italian President Sergio Mattarella arrived Tuesday in Amman on an official multi-day visit to Jordan, during which he will hold talks with King Abdullah II, and Prime Minister Omar Razzaz.

Upon his arrival at the King Hussein Air Base, the Italian leader was welcomed by State Minister for Investment Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh, as well as the Italian Ambassador in Amman, Jordanian Ambassador to Italy and a number of senior officials.
