Islamabad, In response to urgent needs in Gwadar, the Pakistan Army alongside the civil administration has initiated extensive relief activities to aid the local population.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these joint efforts have led to the establishment of medical relief camps at the GPA Rest House and Union Council Sarbandan, where a significant number of residents are receiving medical examinations and free medications. These camps are part of a broader push to provide essential services to the affected communities.
In addition to healthcare, substantial measures are being taken to improve the infrastructure affected by recent events. The drainage process, crucial for preventing water-borne diseases and maintaining hygiene, has commenced at Jannat Bazar and Mulla Fazal Chowk, with plans to expand these operations to other impacted areas shortly.
This collaboration between military and civil bodies underscores a comprehensive approach to disaster response, emphasizing swift medical aid and infrastructure recovery to mitigate the impact on the lives of Gwadar’s residents.
