Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the critical role of Karachi Port in the national economy, stating that addressing the port’s challenges is urgently needed. His remarks were made during a meeting with Karachi Port Trust Chairman Syedin Raza Zaidi at the Governor House, where they discussed various issues affecting the port’s operations and its importance in economic activities.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori highlighted the significance of the port and the pressing necessity to resolve its operational difficulties to enhance economic activities. He asserted that a modernized Karachi Port could actively boost the economy. The discussion also covered the welfare activities of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat, as informed by community representative Kamil Younis, including the Al Nadeel Burhani Sports Complex, which is a major sports facility in Karachi.

Chairman Syedin Raza Zaidi expressed appreciation for the Governor’s recognition of the port’s importance and functionality.
