Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Advisor Announces Immediate Salary Release for Community Girls School Teachers

Peshawar, Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Finance Muzamil Aslam has announced that one month’s salary will be released immediately to the teachers of Community Girls Schools, with a plan to address other arrears soon. This decision was made during a meeting that included Provincial Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarkai, Additional Secretary Abdul Akram, and other officials.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the briefing in the meeting revealed that 3,600 teachers in Girls Community Schools, who serve in remote areas of the province, have had their salaries suspended for several months. In response, Finance Advisor Muzamil Aslam issued immediate instructions to release one month’s salary to the affected teachers. The meeting also discussed preparing a detailed plan to pay the remaining arrears.

Provincial Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarkai highlighted that approximately 76,000 students are currently enrolled in community girls’ schools, which are established in the remote areas of the province. These schools play a crucial role in providing education to girls in the most backward areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
