Lasbela, Following directives from Deputy Commissioner Humira Baloch, a key meeting was held to address issues of deforestation and high passenger vehicle fares in Lasbela. The meeting, convened by Political Assistant Commissioner Sub-Division Belah Ali Shah Abbasi, brought together transporters and forest department officials to discuss new enforcement measures and fare adjustments.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Assistant Commissioner Abbasi issued stringent commands against forest cutting and emphasized the preservation of trees, declaring zero tolerance for illegal timber activities. On the transportation front, he highlighted the recent decrease in fuel prices, urging local transporters to lower their fares accordingly to ease the financial burden on residents. The meeting also saw participation from local journalists who voiced public concerns, further pushing for immediate action on these critical issues.
