Loralai Hosts Successful Conclusion of Second Annual Youth Festival

Loralai, The second annual Loralai Youth Festival concluded spectacularly at Loralai University over the weekend, drawing significant participation from government officials, students, and various educational leaders. The festival, which spanned two days, featured a wide range of cultural and educational activities aimed at engaging and uplifting the youth of the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the event was a collaborative effort led by the Balochistan Youth Affairs Department, with Director Abbas Ali Khosa at the helm, acknowledging the significant role of Loralai University in hosting this key event. Director Khosa emphasized the festival’s aim to unearth and cultivate hidden talents among the youth, particularly in remote areas of Balochistan.

The festival saw a robust turnout, including Deputy Commissioner Loralai Miran Baloch, and other notable figures such as Provincial Chancellor Adil Zaman Kasi, and former Deputy Director of Sports Syed Zafarullah Shah. The program included competitions in recitation, national songs, essay writing, and a science exhibition, as well as panel discussions on youth and future opportunities.

In his address, Director Khosa highlighted the festival’s role in providing a platform for positive youth activities and expressed plans to extend similar opportunities through inter-school sports festivals and other district-wide sports promotions. The festival closed with the distribution of cash prizes, certificates, and laptops to students who excelled in various competitions, celebrating their achievements and the event’s success.
