Loralai Implements Major Solarization Project for Agricultural Tubewells

Loralai: Deputy Commissioner Miran Baloch has announced a significant initiative to solarize all legal and registered agricultural tubewells in Loralai, in compliance with directives from Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Baloch included key stakeholders such as Axin Wapda, SDO Gul Mohammad, Deputy Director of Agriculture Ghulam Dastgir, and representatives from the Landlord Action Committee and Wadahgar. The meeting emphasized the government’s commitment, bolstered by Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti’s special interest and efforts, to transition to solar power for all sanctioned agricultural tubewells while disconnecting illegal connections.

The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Government of Balochistan and the Federal Government, aiming to enhance sustainable agricultural practices and reduce unauthorized water extraction. Immediate action has been directed by the Chief Secretary, and no deviations or delays will be tolerated in the implementation of this environmentally beneficial project.
