Maintenance shutdown of Phase-1 of Zamzama gas field – Alfalah Securities Limited

Karachi: Zamzama gas field Phase – 1 operated by BHP Petroleum (Pakistan) is undergoing maintenance shut down due to which the gas supply has been curtailed from the normal 130 mmcfd to 77 mmcfd.

According to Alfalah Securities, resultantly, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced closure of CNG stations in Sindh from 12 o’clock midnight Sunday October 16 till 12 noon and again on October 19, 2011. This is a temporary disruption CNG in Sindh which would be restored once the Zamzama field resumes production.
