Mehbooba Mufti says PDP members arrested for holding candlelight vigil for July 13 martyrs

Srinagar, July 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): Peoples Democratic Party chief, Mehbooba Mufti, has said that several party members were arrested by Indian police and taken to Kothibagh Police station in Srinagar, today. “PDP youth members have been arrested and taken to Kothibagh for taking out a candlelight vigil to pay tributes to the 13th July martyrs. Mother of democracy anyone?” Mehbooba Mufti tweeted along with the photos of PDP members in what appears to be a Police vehicle.

Earlier, Mehbooba Mufti said that she was placed under house arrest to stop her from paying tributes to 13 July 1931 martyrs.
