Minister of Science and Technology Lauds National University of Technology for Emphasizing Practical Education

Minister of Science and Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui visited the National University of Technology (NUTECH) and praised the institution for its dedication to quality education and practical learning experiences for students. According to Press Information Department, during his visit, Minister Siddiqui was briefed by NUTECH Rector Lt Gen (R) Moazzam Ejaz and Registrar Brigadier Adnan Qasim about the university’s operations and expansion plans, including a new campus in Karachi. The minister toured the NUTECH labs and Skills Department, observing firsthand the practical skills training provided to students, which he recognized as crucial for meeting the demands of today’s job market. In remarks to the media on the university premises, Siddiqui commended NUTECH for its role in preparing students to excel in a competitive global environment through a curriculum that balances theoretical knowledge with practical application. The visit concluded with the Rector presenting the minister with a commemorative
shield and souvenir, symbolizing the collaborative efforts between NUTECH and the Ministry of Science and Technology to advance technical education in Pakistan.
