Islamabad: Mobilink Bank has announced a strategic partnership with the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) aimed at enhancing skills development and promoting financial inclusion across Pakistan.
The collaboration will see Mobilink Bank offering free financial literacy training at NAVTTC-funded institutes, supported by digital literacy initiatives through Jazz and the She Fixes program. The initiative will facilitate instant digital account opening for trainees, granting them access to formal financial services. NAVTTC graduates and aspiring entrepreneurs will also have access to MSME financing solutions to aid in launching or scaling micro-businesses, along with free online banking services to encourage digital adoption.
The partnership will also extend virtual medical consultations via the Mobilink Bank app and offer health insurance options tailored for NAVTTC employees and affiliated members.
Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, President & CEO of Mobilink Bank, emphasized the importance of the partnership at the signing ceremony, highlighting its role in building a financially empowered Pakistan by equipping people with necessary skills and digital tools.
Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of NAVTTC, expressed the Commission’s dedication to expanding opportunities for skilled youth, describing the collaboration as a significant contribution to Pakistan’s economic inclusion efforts.
The initiative will focus on increasing women’s workforce participation and promoting green, climate-resilient skills, as well as technology-enabled job placements for young graduates. It is expected to benefit thousands of trainees, improving financial and digital literacy, while expanding access to entrepreneurship and supporting underserved communities. Mobilink Bank’s efforts aim to drive inclusion and support economic mobility for women, promoting equitable development nationwide.
