Musadik emphasizes pragmatic steps for development of agriculture, industrial sectors

Islamabad, June 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik says Pakistan will soon become international energy exporter in LNG. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today, he said an investment of thirteen to fourteen billion US dollars in oil refinery sector will come very soon in Pakistan.

He said Pakistan will become hub of business activities in the region.

He stressed the need to take practical measures for development of agriculture and industrial sectors.

The minister said efforts are being made to create alternative energy resources.

Musadik Malik said the international oil and gas companies have been invited to explore reserves in the country. He said talks with the international community regarding TAPI project are being held to left ban in this regard.
