Pakistan, Egypt agree to strengthen cooperation in diverse fields

Islamabad, June 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of New Global Financing Pact Summit in France. During the meeting, the Prime Minister termed the establishment of Loss and Damage Fund during COP27 Conference held in Sharm El-Sheikh at the global level as an important development.

The Prime Minister said the political commitment which was shown in Sharm El-Sheikh, is moving ahead gradually. The two leaders expressed the resolve to further bolster the bilateral relations. They also agreed to enhance cooperation between the two Islamic countries in diverse fields. The two leaders also agreed to maintain bilateral engagement on regional and international issues.
