Baku, May 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): Deputy Speaker National Assembly Mr. Zahid Akram Durrani called on Mr. Adil Abish Oglu Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan in Baku today. While paying tribute to national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, he emphasized strengthening of Pak-Azerbaijan ties. It is pertinent to mention that Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani is on official visit to Azerbaijan to attend the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s birth in Azerbaijan.
Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani also conveyed warm greetings and good wishes from the people of Pakistan, emphasizing the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of Azerbaijan, acknowledging his exceptional contributions to the progress and development of his country. Heydar Aliyev’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to his people were emphasized by Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani. He highlighted the National Leader’s instrumental role in steering Azerbaijan towards progress and prosperity, fortifying its economy, and establishing an efficient public administration.
During the meeting Deputy Speaker Mr. Zahid Akram Durrani also said that Parliament to Parliament contacts would enhance businesses and trade opportunities between both countries. He also said that Azerbaijan as central Asian country can take benefits from Deep sea routes for enhancing their international trade. He also expressed gratitude to deputy Chairman for participating in international constitutional convention in connection with Golden jubilee celebration of constitution.
Mr. Adil while extending his gratitude, said Azerbaijan always intended to promote trade relations between nations. He also stressed on the need to play pivotal role as Parliamentarian to bring both counties people closer. He also informed that traders and businessmen are keen to invest in Pakistan and he is looking forward for easy process of business. He also said that Azerbaijan people love people of Pakistan with core of their heart as Pakistani people always supported Azerbaijan.
