NA Speaker Highlights Trade and Tourism Potential in Meeting with Turkish Ambassador

Islamabad, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the untapped potential for trade and tourism in Pakistan during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye, Dr. Mehmet Pacaci, at the Parliament House. Highlighting the country’s diverse natural landscape as a significant asset, Sadiq drew parallels with Turkiye’s renowned tourist destinations, suggesting vast opportunities for mutual collaboration in these sectors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Speaker reiterated the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and Turkiye, anchored in shared religious and cultural values. Recalling the inaugural Speaker’s Conference held in 2017, Sadiq pointed out the substantial scope for inter-parliamentary cooperation, extending an invitation to the Speaker of the Turkiye Parliament to explore further collaborative avenues.

Ambassador Pacaci congratulated Sadiq on his election as the Speaker of the National Assembly, reaffirming Turkiye’s esteemed regard for its relationship with Pakistan and expressing eagerness to enhance bilateral relations in various domains.
