Srinagar, January 14, 2017 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leaders, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Saleem Zargar and Sajad Ahmad Lone, today, visited the residence of martyrs of 2016 uprising, Altaf Ahmad Rather and Shakeel Ahmad Ganai in Pulwama.
The leaders while expressed solidarity with the bereaved families reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the mission of their martyrs till taking it to its logical conclusion.
Muhammad Yousuf Naqash on the occasion urged the parents of the martyrs to exhibit patience and assured them that the sacrifices of martyrs would not be allowed to go waste. He said that the people of Kashmir had created a history and it was due to these sacrifices that the Kashmir dispute had gained international recognition.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Insaf Party in a meeting in Srinagar said that Kashmir was a long-pending dispute before the United Nations and the recent uprising in the territory was a clear and legitimate demand for right to self-determination.
The meeting was chaired by District President of the party, Mohammad Hanief Khan, while Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, was also present on the occasion.
The participants of the meeting condemned the use of brute force on peaceful protesters in the occupied territory and termed it frustration of the authorities.
