Solidarity expressed with victims’ families in Pulwama

Srinagar, January 14, 2017 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, a high level delegation of Hurriyet leaders led by Zafar Akbar Butt on Saturday visited various pellet victims and the families of martyrs in Ruhmoo area of Pulwama.

Zafar Akbar Butt addressing people on the occasion expressed dismay over the deteriorating condition of the pellet victims including Shabroza Butt, Irfa Jan, Shabroza Mir, Zahoor Ahmed Dar, Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Mohammad Ashraf Butt and Suhail Ahmed Mir. He demanded immediate halt on use of this lethal weapon.

He appealed to the international community and human rights organisations to play role and use their influence on India to stop using lethal weapons against peaceful protestors in the territory.

Zafar Akbar Butt was accompanied by Zulfiqar Hamid, Aijaz Ahmed, Gowher Khalid and Mushtaq Ahmed.

The JKSM will also organise a solidarity function with pellet victims on January 23.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R, Farooq Ahmad Dar, in a statement in Srinagar lashed at the puppet administration for shielding Indian forces’ personnel involved in vandalism during 2016 uprising.

He condemned the authorities for misleading the world and said that the international community had enough proof that the forces’ personnel at the behest of PDP-led puppet administration ransacked properties to suppress the spirit of the Kashmiri people.
