Naseerabad prepares for monsoon season with enhanced irrigation measures

Naseerabad, In anticipation of the upcoming monsoon season and potential flooding, Naseerabad’s irrigation officials have convened to discuss and implement precautionary measures to safeguard Balochistan’s sole canal system. The strategies aim to ensure uninterrupted agricultural water supply and mitigate flood risks.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting was led by Deputy Secretary Technical Salahuddin and included Provincial Secretary Apbashi Hafiz Abdul Majid, along with other key engineering and irrigation officials. The discussions were held via video link and were guided by directives from Provincial Irrigation Minister Mir Muhammad Sadiq Imrani.

The officials emphasized their commitment to employing all available resources to maintain the canal system’s operations and support local farmers during the monsoon season. Past experiences and current strategies were reviewed to optimize the response efforts and ensure the safety and productivity of the agricultural sectors in the region.
