Homage paid to three Lolab martyrs

Srinagar, January 31, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF) Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has paid homage to the three martyrs of Lolab, Kupwara, killed by Indian troops in a search and siege operation. Nayeem Ahmad Khan addressing a party meeting in Rafiabad demanded probe into the killings by some neutral international institution. He said the day is not far when the blood of innocent persons will bring positive results in the form of complete freedom from India.

Nayeem Ahmad Khan paid rich tributes to Shaheed Wamiq Farooq on his 6th martyrdom anniversary. He said that the killing of innocent students like Wamiq Farooq in 2008 and 2010 at the hands of the men in uniform was unforgettable. Nayeem Khan also condemned the arrest spree especially in Pulwama. He said that arrests and fake cases against pro-freedom people could not suppress the ongoing liberation movement as the freedom struggle was deeply rooted in the minds and hearts of the Kashmiri people.

Meanwhile, a JKNF delegation comprised Abdul Lateef, Ajaz Ahmad and Bashir Ahmad went to Mazar-e-Shohada, Srinagar, and participated in the joint prayers of Shaheed Wamiq Farooq. The Muslim Deeni Mahaz spokesperson in a statement in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Kashmiri youth martyred in Kupwara.

Saluting the freedom sentiment of the people of Kupwara, he said that it was a good message to the local stooges of India that the people of Kupwara had not forgotten the wounds of Kunan Poshpora, Handwara and Kupwara. Their wounds can be healed by freedom from India and not by the stooges of India, he added.
