Pak-Italy Parliamentary Diplomacy Can Strengthen Ties, Says Speaker Ayaz Sadiq

Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ties between Pakistan and Italy, aiming to bring their peoples closer together. During a meeting with Italian Ambassador Marilina Armellin, Sadiq highlighted the importance of exchanging parliamentary delegations and the activities of the Pakistan-Italy Parliamentary Friendship Group in bolstering bilateral relations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussion underscored potential areas of cooperation and mutual interest. Ambassador Armellin expressed Italy’s intent to enhance the strategic partnership with Pakistan, signaling a commitment to deepen diplomatic and parliamentary engagement.
