Pakistan and Azerbaijan Discuss Regional Stability and Defense Cooperation

Islamabad, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held discussions with Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Syed Asim Munir, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, focusing on regional peace, stability, and mutual defense interests.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting underscored the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, with discussions on enhancing defense and security cooperation. General Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Azerbaijan in various capacities, while Bayramov commended Pakistan’s role in regional stability and acknowledged its continued support to Azerbaijan.

The talks also celebrated the professionalism and valor of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, with both sides expressing a commitment to further solidify their partnership in defense and security sectors.
