Pakistan and Afghanistan Collaborate to Address Bisham Attack

Islamabad, In a significant move towards regional cooperation against terrorism, Pakistan and Afghanistan have reaffirmed their commitment to jointly tackle the menace following discussions on the Bisham attack that occurred on March 26, 2024.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a crucial meeting in Kabul between Pakistan’s Secretary Interior, Muhammad Khurram Agha, and Afghanistan’s Interim Deputy Minister for Interior, Muhammad Nabi Omari, the two sides agreed to enhance their collaborative efforts. The Pakistani delegation shared investigative findings from the Bisham incident, seeking Afghanistan’s cooperation in apprehending those responsible for fostering cross-border terrorism.

The discussions underscored a mutual understanding to work diligently towards bringing the perpetrators to justice and preventing future attacks, highlighting a joint resolve to secure peace and stability in the region.
