Pakistan and Azerbaijan Strengthen Defense Ties

Islamabad, The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, General Syed Asim Munir, held a significant meeting with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the discussions focused on enhancing the bilateral relationship with a special emphasis on defense and security cooperation. The COAS reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening the fraternal ties with Azerbaijan, praising the Azerbaijani Armed Forces for their professionalism and valor.

Foreign Minister Bayramov lauded Pakistan’s continuous support to Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s role in maintaining regional stability. This meeting marks a continuation of the strong bilateral relations between the two nations, focusing on mutual interests in peace and security.
