Beijing: In a strategic move to bolster economic ties, Pakistan’s Minister for Energy, Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, and Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb engaged in comprehensive talks with Mr. Sheng Hetai, President of SINOSURE, in Beijing. The discussions focused on enhancing financial and banking cooperation, expanding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and the pivotal role of the private sector in the next phase of CPEC’s implementation.

According to Press Information Department, the bilateral meeting served as a platform for both countries to review their ongoing economic collaboration and explore new avenues for growth. The Pakistani ministers briefed Mr. Hetai on the government’s current initiatives aimed at economic recovery, with particular emphasis on the energy and taxation sectors.
