Pakistan and Tajikistan Commit to Enhanced Multilateral Cooperation for Regional Development

Dushanbe: Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed to strengthen their multilateral cooperation to promote global and regional peace, stability, and sustainable development following Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Dushanbe.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a joint statement released at the conclusion of the visit highlighted both countries’ determination to deepen their fraternal ties and enhance cooperation across various sectors. Key discussions focused on improving road, rail, and air connectivity and the early completion of the CASA-1000 power project, which is expected to establish future energy corridors that could significantly benefit the region.
