Pakistan Coast Guards Crack Down on Diesel Smuggling in Balochistan

Islamabad, The Pakistan Coast Guards recently conducted a successful operation against diesel smuggling in Uthal, Balochistan, seizing over 10,000 liters of illicit Iranian diesel. The operation took place at the Naka Khari check post and involved a passenger coach used to smuggle the fuel.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the diesel was hidden in specially designed compartments within the coach. Authorities have initiated legal actions against the coach’s owner and driver as part of broader efforts to curb smuggling activities that undermine the local economy and violate customs regulations. This operation is part of ongoing efforts by the Pakistan Coast Guards to enforce law and order along the coastal regions.
