Pakistan Marks 77th Independence Day with Calls for Unity and Justice

Islamabad: Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, the Federal Minister for Law and Justice and Human Rights, issued a message of unity and reaffirmation of human rights on the occasion of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Tarar’s statement celebrated Pakistan’s heritage of diversity and commitment to justice, as envisioned by the nation’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The minister emphasized the symbolic importance of the national flag, which represents both the Muslim majority and the protection of religious minorities.

The statement also expressed solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and condemned the ongoing conflict in Gaza, highlighting Pakistan’s stance on key international human rights issues. On this national holiday, Minister Tarar called on all Pakistanis to uphold the principles of law, equality, and human dignity.
