Pakistan Pursues Economic Integration with Central Asian States

Islamabad, Pakistan has expressed its commitment to strengthening economic ties and boosting trade with Central Asian countries, aiming to enhance regional development and prosperity.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister for Privatization and Board of Investment Abdul Aleem Khan conveyed this intent while speaking at the ‘Road to Tien Shan’ regional forum in Tajikistan. He emphasized the strategic importance of Pakistan’s Port Qasim and Gwadar Port in serving Central Asia’s trade routes. The Minister also highlighted the potential for new cooperative ventures between Pakistan and Tajikistan, stemming from this international conference.
