Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Palestine, Seeks Enhanced Ties with Japan

Islamabad, In recent diplomatic engagements, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause and the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. His remarks were made during a meeting with Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Jawad A. A. Rabei, who also conveyed his congratulations to Dar on his new role.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussion with Ambassador Rabei centered on Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestine amidst ongoing conflicts. The Foreign Minister stressed the urgency of establishing peace in the region through an unconditional ceasefire.

On the same day, Dar also met with Japanese Ambassador Mitsuhiro Wada, where they explored avenues to deepen bilateral relations, focusing on trade, investment, and the export of manpower. Acknowledging the long-standing development partnership between Pakistan and Japan, Dar expressed a keen interest in expanding this relationship across various sectors for mutual benefit.

These meetings underscore Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to solidify its international relationships, advocating for peace and collaboration on both regional and global stages.
